Thanksgiving’s Around the Corner
Thanksgiving’s around the corner, and there are so many out there that just buy a turkey, and eat it. Thanksgiving is a time for sharing and giving thanks, and not too many people actually do that anymore. I’m thankful for so many things in life, and this is the time when I really contemplate life. I’m so thankful for my freedom, and living in America. So many people take for granted how amazing life is. I’m thankful for my school, and for sports, and most of all, I’m thankful for my family and friends.
With Thanksgiving, comes the people that truly give thanks for all that they have. They are thankful that they don’t live in a war-torn country, or that they have food to eat today. I am so thankful for the people I love. I’m so grateful for my family and friends, and the greatest experiences in my life. I can’t wait for Thanksgiving because it is a day where I truly feel that even the most unwell-off families can feel love throughout the community.
I am so thankful for my pets. They are so loving, and I can tell that they have emotions like us. I am thankful for sports, especially cross country, basketball, and bowling. I feel so alive when I’m playing sports, especially bowling. I am so thankful for having a great school, and education, as well as great friends. I am so anxious for thanksgiving, and I hope there are still people who really appreciate the things most take for granted.
